What will your generation be remembered for?

- What great (good and bad) things happened in your grandparent's lifetime? What will their generation be remembered for?
My grandparents are from 60's decade. In 60's decade the sovietics send the first man to the moon. In the other side, here in Brazil, Jânio Quadros resigned the position and we enter into a political crisis.
In my opinion this generation will be remembered for the conquest the space.

- In your opinion, what will your parent's generation be remembered for?
My parents are from 80's decade. In my opinion this decade was the end of the industrial age for the beginning of the information age.

-If you could choose one thing to mark your generation, what would that thing be? Why?
I think my generation will be remembered for the globalization of information. Because the prices of having a connection decreased and more people had access, not only access to information, but also to transfer of video, audio and softwares. Internet resources such as social networking, instant messaging, and e-commerce have greatly modified the way people relate to each other, both personally and professionally.
